Hartford County, Connecticut. He died Inflamation of the brain. on
13 Jun 1813 in Glastenbury, Hartford County, Connecticut. George,
son of Col. Elizur Talcott and Ruth Wright, was born in Glastenbury,
Ct., Sept. 30, 1755, married 1st Vienna, daughter of Jerimiah and Rebecca
(Dart) Bradford (b. Nov. 5 1757), March 16, 1777.
Vienna, wife of George Talcott, died in Glastenbury, Ct., Aug. 17,
1785, and he married 2d Abigail, daughter of John andm Abigail (Deming)
Goodrich, Feb. 9, 1786.
Vienna, the first wife of George Talcott, was a descendant of Gov.
William Bradford, who came over in the Mayflower from Austerfield, England.
His grandfather was William Bradford, of Austerfield, who died 1595-6, who had
a son, William, who married Alice, daughter of John Hanson, and had (Gov.) William,
bapt. March, 1589. The Governor's father died and was buried July 15, 1591,
leaving him an orphan at the age of two years.
Gov. William married first Dorothy May, of Wetzbuts, England, Nov. 30, 1613;
2d Alice, widow of Edward Southward, Aug. 14, 1623; who died March 26, 1670.
He had a son, William, born June 17, 1624; who married 1st Alice, daughter of
Thomas Richards, of Weymouth, who died Dec. 12, 1671. They had Samuel, born
1668; married Hannah, daughter of John Rogers, in 1689, and eleven other children.
Samuel and Hannah (Rogers) Bradford had Gershom, born Dec 21, 1691; married
Priscilla, daughter of Ichabod Wiswell, and six other children.
Gershom and Priscilla (Wiswell) Bradford had Jeremiah, born 1734; married
Rebecca Dart. (Jeremiah was a physician in Connecticut, practised in Middle
Haddam; died 1814.)
Jeremiah and Rebecca (Dart) Bradford had Vienna, born Nov. 5, 1757 (married
Geroge Talcott), and other children.
George Talcott died in Glastenbury, Ct., June 13, 1813. He was a
farmer by occupation and lived in the homestead which descended to him, through
his father from his grandfather, Benjamin. He, with his father and two brothers,
served for a short time in the war of the Revolution, and was present at the
retreat of the American forces on Long Island.
Abigail, the widow of George Talcott, died in Glastenbury, Ct., June
22, 1854, ae. 86 years, 10 months and 21 days. She was the daughter of John
Goodrich whose genealogy is before given.

Hartford County, Connecticut. Vienna BRADFORD112 was born on 5 Nov 1757 in Glastenbury,
