Dea. David Talcott resided for a time in Tyringham, Berkshire Co., Mass., and removed from there to Williston, Chittenden Co., Vt., where he settled at an early date with his five sons and two daughters. He with Jonathan Spafford and Asa Brownson, were chosen the first selectmen of Williston after its resettlement in 1786.

Dea. David TALCOTT and Elizabeth PARKER were married on 3 Mar 1763 in Bolton, Tolland County, Connecticut. Elizabeth PARKER was born in Coventry, Tolland County, Connecticut. She died in Williston, Chittenden County, Vermont. Dea. David TALCOTT and Elizabeth PARKER had the following children:
