49. Dorothy TALCOTT²⁶ was born on 20 Feb 1666 in Hartford, Hartford County, Connecticut. She died on 28 May 1696 in Windsor, Hartford County, Connecticut. Dorothy, daughter of Lt.-Col. John Talcott and Helena Wakeman, was born in Hartford February 20, 1666, married Capt. Thomas Stoughton, of Windsor, Dec 31, 1691, and had one child only.
Dorothy Stoughton died May 28, 1696, Thos. Stoughton afterward married Abigail, widow of Samuel Lathrop, daughter of Rev. Timothy Edwards, of Hartford, May 19, 1697, and had a family of ten children. He died January 14, 1749 in his 87th year. Abigail Stoughton, his widow, died Jan. 23, 1754, aged 82 years.
Capt. Thomas Stoughton was the son of Thomas, of Windsor, and Mary daughter Wm. Wadsworth, and was born Nov. 21, 1663, and grandson of Thomas, of Dorchester, of 1630, who came over that year from England in the ship "Mary and John."
Thomas Stoughton, Sen'r, died Sept. 15, 1684. Mary, his wife, died Nov 30, 1665.

Dorothy TALCOTT and Captain Thomas STOUGHTON were married on 31 Dec 1691 in Windsor, Hartford County, Connecticut. Captain Thomas STOUGHTON was born in 1662 in Windsor, Hartford County, Connecticut.
